Chrysler's 2.7L DOHC V6 Engine is one of Chrysler's most popular Engines used in Intrepid, Concorde, Sebring and Stratus. Unfortunately, these Engines typically have a short lifespan of only 30,000-70,000 miles on average without serious problems. The most common premature problem with these Engines is Oil Sludge due to what several Engine experts have stated is due to internal Oil passages that are too narrow for Engine Oil to properly circulate causing the oil to "cook" inside the Engine.
